LT and HT Switchboards Retro Fitting

Jatson has more than 25 years of experience in LT Switchboard manufacturing. This extensive experience has enabled our team to perform retrofitting work with greater agility. We understand the pain points and dynamics of industrial processes and have a clear understanding of the timelines required to complete such specific jobs.

Retrofitting involves the replacement of old or existing circuits, elements, or switchgears within a system with new components or switchgear. Typically, a retrofit is carried out on an existing electrical control switchboard or electrical distribution system that is in good condition and has a considerable lifespan remaining.

An example of retrofitting might be upgrading a feeder MCCB circuit from a 400-ampere thermal magnetic MCCB to a 630-ampere MCCB with an electronic trip. This upgrade accommodates additional load for the building and provides better electrical coordination between control Switchboards.

Another reason for retrofitting could be replacing damaged or worn-out circuit breakers or substituting outdated protection or control relays. Replacing these components enhances the performance and protection of the switchboards.

We regularly perform retrofitting jobs for all our existing customers.
